Mr. Spotora has been called, “the Cure for the Common Lawyer”. Since 2001, Anthony has served as Managing Attorney at Spotora & Associates, a full service firm recognized for its emphatic devotion to exceeding client expectations and differentiating itself from lateral firms.

First to curate and implement the industry law model in 2002, “The Virtual Lawyer™,” it was Mr. Spotora who devised a method for providing exclusive, senior-attorney representation, at rates more commonly associated to junior-counsel at competitor firms. Benefits to clients and firm operations so significant and uncommon, insurance heads, lateral firms, and media guerillas began a ‘soft interrogation’ that would never really cease. In 2014, the American Bar Association formally defined the “Virtual Law Firm” law model.

Anthony’s expertise lies in the legal practice areas of Business, Corporate, Entertainment and Intellectual Property laws. He commonly works with individual clients as well as with a full roster of corporate clientele that range from closely held corporations to franchises and Fortune 500 giants.

Mr. Spotora’s daily activities range from the establishment and strategic structuring of various legal enterprises, advising clients on effective business operations, securing, protecting or defending intellectual property rights such as trademarks, drafting and negotiating any one of a countless array of industry-related contracts in all genres of entertainment; drafting and negotiating any one of a countless array of corporate and business-related agreements; aggressively attending to a full gamut of litigious matters; preparing corporate records, private offerings and other corporate related ventures or requirements, guiding client inventions and other goods or services to market… the list goes on.

Anthony has served as an Executive Officer and as General Counsel to both National and International Corporations and Limited Liability Companies. He has worked closely to the infamous entertainment industry having served in a variety of capacities for Warner Bros’ Corporate Legal Dept, its Television Production’s Legal Affairs and, for Columbia Motion Pictures Group at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Mr. Spotora has been a requested guest speaker for the ABA’s Business Law Section and for UCLA’s Entertainment Program; he was first nominated as a “Rising Star” in California’s “SuperLawyers,” and then later received multiple consecutive nominations as a California “SuperLawyer”. Mr. Spotora has additionally been a requested guest speaker on CBS Radio and is planned to lead various seminars in some of the nation’s top law schools.

Mr. Spotora is a member of the State Bar of California and he oversees the firms’ ongoing client matters, cases, and operations, including that of its talented roster of senior-associate attorneys and our incredible office staff.

Anthony (“A.J.”) majored in Pre-law and Psychology at Florida State University (FSU). He was a member of, Sigma Phi Epsilon, the Golden Key National Honor Society, the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity, and served as a University Ambassador.

Mr. Spotora obtained his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law where he received honors for both writing and advocacy. During law school, Anthony was awarded a writing grant to teach junior law students advanced writing skills; he tutored Constitutional Law; was elected to student council and; was also on the traveling Moot Court Board and Trial Team.

Anthony additionally studied international business law at the University College London School of Law, and intellectual property and entertainment laws at the Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California.
